House of Roux is a boutique braiding and beauty salon in East Legon. Three chairs, three hours minimum, candles in the back room, and braiders who know how to hold a long appointment beautifully.

A long appointment, made beautifully.

A good braid takes hours. We have built the room for those hours. Velvet armchairs, brass pendants, a small kitchen for the coffee that is going to be needed, and a back atelier for the very long stays. We do not double-book the chair. The time you book is yours, completely.

Twelve years at the chair. Trained with the great braiders of Madina market and the studios of Brixton. Known for knotless box braids and the calm of a long appointment.

Cornrows, tribal patterns, feed-in styles. The hand for editorial and bridal looks. Two AFRIBA awards. Pulls neat lines without ever pulling your edges.

Aesthetician trained in London. Specialist in melanin-rich skin, the LED facial protocol, and the architecture of a quiet but considered brow.

A take-down, and a clean slate.

Most installs start with the patient work of a careful take-down, a deep wash and a steam, and a scalp rest. We never put fresh braids on tired hair. Drag the handle to see the difference.

A private back room for the long stays.

Some braids take eight hours. We built a separate room for them. A velvet armchair, your own playlist, a small library, real food at lunch. So that the chair feels like somewhere you would want to spend a long afternoon.
